I have found the most fabulous tool. This is what was happening. My computer would freeze up randomly, and I would have to shut it down & restart it. Sometimes my printer wouldn’t work- again randomly- and I would have to shut everything down and bring it back up again. My screen would jump and scroll. I would get weird error messages. Everything was SUPER slow.
I figured I would have to unplug the whole thing, haul it down to our computer shop, hope they could get to it in the near future, wait the weekend, and then go pick it up. Pay a hundred or two. Then haul it home and put it back together.
Which is actually why I let it get so bad. I didn’t want to do any of that.
So I was asking some friends where they thought I should take it, and he said, “Well, I know a guy….”
Usually when someone starts a sentence with “well, I know a guy…” I tune out. But he proceeded to describe computer freedom to me, and I took it.
I went online to www.f10tech.com, paid my $60 flat fee, and watched as Jake connected to my computer from his office. He then proceeded to chat with me, online, and discovered what my complaints were. Then, as I watched from my screen at home, he fixed my computer.
I never had to unhook or haul a thing. Or wait. Or pay exhorbitant amounts of money.
And it was so cool! I watched my mouse travel all over my screen, like a phantom Geek Squad was behind it. And I learned, because I watched him do everything. When he had a question, the chat box would pop up and we could communicate. When I wanted to gush all over him and thank him for the hundredth time for making this so easy, I just used the chat box. When he finished everything and I remembered something else, I told him and he just did it.
It was so cool. SO COOL.
Right now they’re running a special, a $60 flat rate instead of their usual $90. I think- I think- it goes through April. Don’t quote me on that. But if you want your computer fixed and you’re sick of hauling and unhooking and waiting, try this!!
Just go to www.f10tech.com and use any of the “start here” buttons, pay your $60 (pay pal or credit card) and then he takes it from there. I can’t remember exactly what happens, but it’s super self-explanitory. And when he’s finished, the connection between your computer and his is severed and he no longer has access.
I am super impressed. My computer is running GREAT and I didn’t have to go anywhere!
